Humana’s Primary Care Organization is hiring a Medical Coding Professional 2, also described as an IPA Consultative Coder, to support providers and clinic teams in assigned IPA clinics. The role delivers coding and documentation education, provides consultative support, conducts documentation audits, and performs quarterly chart reviews to improve coding accuracy and documentation completeness. It is a hybrid position requiring occasional travel within the assigned market, with a requirement to live within 50 miles of that market. The position requires at least three years of risk-adjustment medical coding experience, CCS, CRC, or CPC certification, and familiarity with value-based care. The stated base pay is $59,300 to $80,900 per year, with a bonus incentive plan.
