Description
SSC Space is hiring a permanent hybrid IRIS² Subcontractor Manager – EU Communication Gateway (Ground Segment) to own subcontractor delivery performance across a complex, multi-partner industrial ecosystem. The role defines the subcontracting strategy, enforces performance through KPIs and governance, coordinates subcontractors with engineering, procurement, legal, and programme teams, manages contractual and commercial alignment, and drives compliance, quality flow-down, risk mitigation, and issue resolution. Relevant experience includes managing subcontractors in complex engineering or regulated programmes, subcontract management, aerospace or defence environments, and supplier audits or compliance management.
