Description
The Industrial Ironworker plans, lays out, erects, and fabricates structural steel in accordance with plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. The role includes inspecting subordinate work, maintaining quality and safety, communicating with crew members, and performing physically demanding work such as lifting up to 50 pounds and working on steel, wood, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. Candidates must be able to read drawings and specifications, use trade tools and equipment, communicate effectively, and have at least three years of industrial or commercial construction experience, with additional experience required for higher levels.
