Description
The Information System Security Officer (ISSO) will serve as the security authorization authority for classified information systems in a SCIF environment. The role owns the ATO lifecycle, develops and maintains SSPs and RMF documentation, leads security assessments and reauthorizations, operates continuous monitoring programs, manages vulnerabilities and control gaps, enforces segregation of duties, and collaborates with infrastructure, platform, and application teams. It is a contract, part-time position in the Reston Town Center area, requiring an FSP clearance and 5–8 years of ISSO, ISSM, or equivalent systems security experience.
