Description
The Senior Java Engineer will lead an offshore team of four and own the design and deployment of existing and new APIs on Azure. The role requires strong Java, microservices, GitHub Actions, Quarkus, Karate framework, and cloud deployment expertise, along with experience securing backend services, performance tuning at scale, and integrating with 10+ backend services in a distributed microservices architecture. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into software solutions, supporting development and technical direction, leading incident support and troubleshooting, participating in integration and user acceptance testing, developing and documenting software, and mentoring technical resources.
