Description
Eaton is hiring an IT Architect - Network to serve as the senior technical authority for enterprise network, cloud networking, interconnection, private wireless, and network security architecture. The role defines target-state architectures, standards, roadmaps, reference designs, and governance practices across global networks, including campus, data center, WAN/SD-WAN, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Equinix interconnection, and manufacturing connectivity. The architect will also lead initiatives in network automation, AIOps, observability, telemetry, infrastructure as code, and intent-based networking, while collaborating with architecture, security, cloud, and infrastructure teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree, at least seven years of relevant architecture experience, and senior architect or technical leadership experience; it is based in one of six specified locations and offers an annual salary of $146,000 to $215,000 plus a variable incentive program.
