DHL Supply Chain is hiring an IT Data Engineer in Essen to own the Azure data platform and data architecture, build and optimize scalable data warehouse, data lake, and integration solutions, develop and operate ETL/ELT processes, define data models and governance standards, and lead data and digitalization projects. The role also includes supporting scanning, transport, warehouse-management, storage, and analytics systems, coaching data analysts, and coordinating internal and external partners. Candidates need a relevant degree, several years of data engineering or business intelligence experience, SQL and data modeling expertise, ETL/ELT experience, data governance knowledge, project leadership experience, and strong German and English skills.
