Description
The IT Director will lead Goetel’s corporate IT, software development, and Data & Business Intelligence functions, reporting to the CFO as Managing Director. The role covers IT strategy, governance, architecture, budgeting, project and supplier management, secure and cost-effective operations, M365 and Azure, software and process automation, data platforms, AI governance, and cybersecurity, including ISO 27001 and NIS-2 implementation. The position requires several years of cross-functional IT leadership experience, strong knowledge of cloud, cybersecurity, software development, system integration, data platforms, and business intelligence, along with German and English language skills. It is a permanent full-time role in Göttingen, Lower Saxony, with vacation, bike leasing, corporate benefits, and a company pension plan.
