Continental is hiring an IT Engineer for its Smartfactory Operations team in Timișoara, Romania. The role supports and maintains Smartfactory solutions such as MES, SAP DM, MSB, IoT Edge, data acquisition, and recipe management; provides second-level manufacturing IT support; monitors systems; coordinates upgrades and patches; supports regional rollout and digital transformation; and coordinates infrastructure and issue activities. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least three years of IT engineering experience, familiarity with manufacturing processes and Industry 4.0, knowledge of ITSM, and business-fluent English.
