Description
The Database Operations Engineer installs, upgrades, patches, monitors, tunes, backs up, and secures database systems; supports incidents, requests, changes, and problems; performs disaster recovery and business continuity testing; and develops automation and operational processes. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with 0–4 years of experience eligible, and emphasizes SQL, SQL Server, database administration, Linux and Windows operations, and scripting.
