The role involves automating processes, improving efficiency, and integrating various systems to support finance, business operations, HR, and other business functions. Key responsibilities include managing Azure resources, overseeing Microsoft 365 administration, administering Azure Active Directory, utilizing Intune for device compliance, optimizing cloud resource usage, building automation for IT workflows, developing scripts and Power Automate flows, implementing proactive monitoring, applying security policies, conducting audits, collaborating on compliance, partnering with business units for integrations, supporting system integrations between various ERP and business systems, understanding workflows to reduce manual work, optimizing specialty applications, evaluating emerging technologies, assuming technical ownership of integration and automation projects, serving as an escalation point for complex issues, maintaining documentation, ensuring audit readiness, and providing coverage for IT director functions.
