Description
The role is responsible for building, operating, and modernizing a server and storage landscape; configuring and maintaining virtualized environments, especially Hyper-V; handling incidents and delivering sustainable solutions; planning and documenting changes; supporting infrastructure harmonization during a merger; participating in standardization and migration projects; managing storage and backup/restore operations; and providing second-level support. The position requires IT specialist training or comparable practical experience, server and virtualization knowledge, backup-system experience, security awareness, strong German and English skills, and a service-oriented, hands-on approach. Work can be hybrid or fully remote depending on residence and project needs.
