Description
This fully onsite IT Infrastructure Engineer role supports IRIS databases on Linux in on-premises and cloud environments, including Epic systems such as Health Connect, Claims Connect, and Membership Connect. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, securing, resolving incidents, coordinating with vendors, using Tivoli Workload Scheduler, and supporting enterprise initiatives such as instance consolidations. The role also involves designing and building stable, recoverable database systems, translating business requirements into technical specifications, evaluating service options, and leading infrastructure implementation and standards development. The position requires Pacific Time Zone availability and a one-week on-call rotation approximately every two months.
