Mindlance is hiring a Senior Java AI Developer for an onsite schedule in Austin or Southlake, Texas. The role leads Java-based, cloud-native, event-driven application development across the software development lifecycle, using Spring Boot, Kafka, REST APIs, CI/CD, container platforms, and distributed systems. It also involves modernizing legacy systems, applying GenAI-assisted development practices, establishing responsible AI workflows, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering quality through testing, observability, resiliency, and performance practices. The position requires extensive Java and cloud-native software engineering experience, including at least seven years of professional software engineering experience and six years building cloud-native applications.
