Description
SpaceX is hiring an IT Network Engineer to support its campus network and the design, manufacturing, and launch of rockets, spacecraft, satellites, and human spaceflight. The role involves procuring and configuring network hardware, troubleshooting connectivity and security issues, planning maintenance windows, conducting wireless surveys, building IDF rooms, monitoring network health, maintaining documentation and hardware inventory, and coordinating with customers, vendors, and contractors. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM discipline and at least three years of professional network engineering experience, or five years of experience without a degree. The position offers a Level 3 base salary of $135,000 to $175,000, medical, vision, and dental coverage, retirement and disability benefits, paid leave, and other perks.
