Description
The Semiconductor Fab Network Engineer operates and secures mission-critical industrial networks supporting 24/7 semiconductor manufacturing. The role maintains resilient IT/OT-segmented architectures, ensures low-latency and deterministic performance for MES, automation, AMHS, and process-control systems, monitors and troubleshoots production incidents, performs root-cause analysis, and implements industrial cybersecurity controls. Responsibilities also include capacity planning, network readiness for new tools and production lines, vendor coordination, documentation, and continuous improvement. The role requires industrial networking, routing, security, OT experience, and familiarity with high-availability design and monitoring tools, with possible 24/7 on-call or standby support.
