Description
The IT Operations Incident Manager will support the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Electronic Health Record Modernization initiative during deployment, cutover, and go-live phases. The role operates from the EHRM Command Center in the Metro DC area, providing real-time operational monitoring, incident triage and response coordination, stakeholder communication, incident tracking, operational dashboards, Go/No-Go updates, and post-deployment reviews. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in information technology, healthcare informatics, or a related discipline, at least five years of relevant IT operations or incident management experience, familiarity with EHR systems, and eligibility to obtain and maintain Tier 2 Moderate Risk (MBI) clearance.
