Description
The IT Operations Manager leads day-to-day IT support for the College of Architecture, Arts, and Design, owns the support queue, escalates end-user issues, provides technical support for computer labs, and supervises the student wage triage team. The role sets support priorities, partners with the AAD Lab Operations Manager and IT Director, and requires technical support, leadership, ticketing, communication, and customer-service skills. It is a regular 40-hour-per-week staff position in Blacksburg, Virginia, with a hybrid arrangement of up to one day of telework per week after onsite onboarding, and pays $60,000–$68,000.
