The Berlin Police is hiring an IT Procedure Administrator for Application and Interface Systems on an open-ended basis. The role is based in Berlin and involves installing and configuring application and interface software, monitoring systems and servers, resolving hardware and software faults, supporting security compliance, contributing to technical and security concepts, conducting internal training, and maintaining documentation. The position requires a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge, experience with UNIX/Linux, Microsoft Windows, web and J2EE servers, container technologies, SQL, shell scripting, the ELK stack, and IT service-management knowledge, along with participation in paid on-call duty.
