The Max Planck Society is hiring an IT Service Manager for its virtual workplace (vAP) in Munich. The role manages Office and base applications, external service providers, Microsoft 365 integration, IT service operations, vendor and resource management, IT procurement, ITIL-based process optimization, and advisory work for MaxIT and the scientific institutes. Candidates need extensive virtual-workplace experience, technical expertise in Citrix, VMware, Microsoft systems, software distribution, and Microsoft 365, leadership experience, cost and procurement knowledge, and strong German and English skills. The position offers mobile work up to 60%, an unlimited employment contract, and pay up to salary group 14 of the TVöD collective agreement.
