The University IT Center (HIZ) at Saarland University of Applied Sciences is hiring a full-time IT Service Technician to administer and support the university’s IT infrastructure, client and server systems, Microsoft directory services, Intune, workstations, and mobile devices. The role includes software deployment, patch management, incident and request handling, fault analysis, onboarding, technical documentation, and service-department projects. Applicants need recognized vocational training as an IT specialist or comparable qualifications with several years of relevant experience, along with server and client administration, Windows, Linux, macOS, and Microsoft technology skills. The position is initially limited to two years with the prospect of permanent employment.
