Description
The Site Reliability and Performance Engineer designs, implements, and maintains monitoring and observability solutions while supporting the performance, reliability, scalability, and operational maturity of IT infrastructure and applications. The role partners with infrastructure, operations, development, and security teams; manages monitoring platforms, dashboards, alerts, and reports; performs capacity planning; supports application performance testing and release procedures; troubleshoots performance and observability issues; and guides IT teams on monitoring best practices. The position is based at AAR’s Corporate Headquarters in Wood Dale, Illinois, with a planned relocation to the Merchandise Mart in Chicago in early 2027.
