Description
The Office of Technology Services is hiring an IT Statewide Systems Technician 1 to provide first-line end-user computing support for approximately 30,000 users across more than 720 offices. The role handles service requests, password and account management, basic hardware, software, and application troubleshooting, escalations, documentation, and may participate in on-call support and project initiatives. Qualifications include two years of information technology experience, six years of full-time experience in any field, an associate's degree in information technology, or a bachelor's degree, with education and experience substitution rules and a possible approved certification. The appointment may be temporary for up to 48 months and can be converted to a probational appointment if a vacancy and funding become available.
