Description
SpaceX is hiring an IT Storage Engineer to design, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical enterprise storage infrastructure for simulation, telemetry, and test-data workloads. The role involves NetApp, Pure Storage, VAST, and HPE Alletra platforms; storage protocols including NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, and NVMe over TCP; performance monitoring across hardware, RDMA transport, and protocol layers; access control; automation; capacity planning; disaster recovery; and collaboration with compute, networking, virtualization, and application teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline plus 3 or more years of professional IT storage engineering experience, or 5 or more years of such experience in lieu of a degree, and requires compliance with ITAR eligibility rules.
