Description
The IT Support Engineer / Junior Technologist is based in Kuala Lumpur and supports the 1000heads APAC business across Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, Melbourne, and Tokyo. The role is split between approximately 50% APAC IT support, 10% global IT integration and out-of-hours cover, and 40% regional technology projects involving internal tools, AI workflows, on-premise AI hardware, Linux and AWS environments, and Bash or Python automation. The position requires strong troubleshooting, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration, networking, Linux, ticketing, AV, and scripting skills, with a focus on independent work, documentation, and learning infrastructure, cloud, development, and AI tooling.
