Description
The IT System Administrator will support the Control and System Technology team by administering servers, hardware, software, Active Directory, Group Policies, databases, virtualization, networking, and related control-system technologies. The role includes second-level support, incident and project management, system integration, monitoring of external service providers, and on-call duty. It is based in Jülich, offers a flexible working arrangement, and requires training as an IT system electronics technician or IT specialist for application development, further training as a state-certified computer scientist, and experience with Windows, Linux, virtualization, databases, networking, backup solutions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
