The client is hiring a full-time IT System Engineer in Freiburg to design, implement, maintain, and optimize scalable IT systems and infrastructure. The role owns the Windows Server environment, including MSSQL, Microsoft IIS, and Exchange; monitors performance and availability; develops backup and restore strategies; and enforces security standards. Candidates need an information technology degree, several years of experience with complex IT infrastructures, knowledge of Windows, networks, cloud, virtualization, monitoring, and backup technologies, and strong German and English skills. The position offers a permanent contract, hybrid work opportunities, and an annual gross salary of €60,000–75,000.
