Description
The IT System Engineer will independently manage, operate, and develop the company’s data center, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include planning and optimizing server, storage, and network solutions; monitoring and patching systems; handling second- and third-level incidents; managing external service providers; documenting the system landscape; and supporting IT security and compliance. The role requires a relevant degree, several years of experience with data centers or complex IT infrastructures, virtualization and server-system knowledge, storage and backup experience, networking fundamentals, and strong technical competence.
