The thinkRED is hiring a full-time, permanent IT Infrastructure Engineer to support digital education infrastructure in Hessen and Rhineland-Pfalz. The role involves installing and configuring learning-management software, administering Linux and Windows server environments, planning and executing system upgrades, advising customers on performance and scalability, and providing technical support and troubleshooting. Candidates need strong German, a valid car driver's license, Linux and Windows Server administration experience, and an IT-oriented qualification or comparable degree with relevant experience. The position is based in Mainz with a possible home-office component.
