Description
The European Geosciences Union is hiring an IT Systems Engineer to join its Munich secretariat IT team. The role operates and develops self-hosted collaboration, communication, email, database, monitoring, and backup services; manages approximately 45 servers and Munich office infrastructure; develops Python/Django, JavaScript, WordPress applications and PostgreSQL/MariaDB databases; and provides first- and second-level support. The position is permanent, full-time, based in Munich, and offers up to three days of home office per week. Compensation is €50,000 to €60,000 gross per year, with a six-month probationary period and an annual inflation adjustment.
