Description
The Itinerant Associate Teacher – EHS provides substitute coverage for Head Start and Early Head Start programs, including breaks, lunches, planning meetings, and occasional coverage at other PLN sites. The role supports infant and toddler care, health and safety, developmentally appropriate learning, family engagement, documentation, compliance, and classroom operations under the supervision of an Area Supervisor and guidance from an Early Head Start Teacher. Candidates need at least six months of experience working with preschool children, an associate degree or higher in a related field or an equivalent postsecondary education pathway, a California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit, CPR/First Aid certification, and a valid Class C California driver’s license.
