Description
The ITS CAD Design Engineer creates and modifies detailed engineering drawings for roadside and gantry-mounted intelligent traffic networks. The role covers cabinet internal layouts, power and signal distribution, structural equipment layouts, electrical terminations, loop detectors, structured cabling, fiber routing, network topologies, underground conduit and trenching, civil/utility clash detection, and As-Built documentation. The engineer must apply Saudi Road Code, Tahakom, and KSA Ministry of Transport standards, use AutoCAD or MicroStation, and understand industrial networking hardware, physical media, and basic protocol architectures.
