The role requires a relevant bachelor's degree, Joint Professional Military Education Level I or an equivalent service education, at least three years of strategic and operational planning and analysis experience, and at least three years of experience in specified special operations or interagency areas, or an equivalent combination of five years of special operations experience and education.
