The J34 Special Operations Forces (SOF) Force Protection Analyst conducts warfighter survivability, critical infrastructure protection, vulnerability, threat, and security risk assessments across the CENTCOM area of responsibility. The role develops force protection concepts of operations, tactics, techniques, and procedures, roadmaps, after-action reviews, assessments, and planning documents; supports SOCCENT, major commands, and interagency partners; and prepares briefs and presentations. It requires a relevant bachelor's degree, Joint Professional Military Education Level I or an equivalent service education, at least three years of strategic and operational planning and analysis experience, and at least three years of experience in specified military, cyber, special programs, or interagency areas, or an equivalent combination of five years of SOF operational experience and education.
