Description
The Janitor is responsible for cleaning and maintaining a facility, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing restrooms, emptying trash, cleaning glass surfaces, using specialized equipment, performing deep cleaning, handling minor repairs, maintaining cleaning-supply inventory, and responding to urgent cleaning needs. The role also involves monitoring building security and safety, following safety procedures, and working independently or as part of a team. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with cleaning-supply knowledge, physical strength, and attention to detail.
