Description
The Janitor keeps buildings clean and orderly by cleaning rooms, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and other work areas; sweeping, waxing, and polishing floors; cleaning carpets, furniture, draperies, windows, and walls; replenishing bathroom supplies; replacing light bulbs; transporting waste; and performing light maintenance and setup tasks. The role reports to a Janitorial Supervisor, requires less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training, and involves physically demanding work including lifting up to 50 pounds and exposure to chemicals, mechanical parts, and outdoor conditions.
