Description
BlackRock is hiring a Japan Fixed Income & Credit Portfolio Manager, Managing Director to lead portfolio construction and investment decisions across Japanese fixed income and credit markets. The role covers high-yield bonds, leveraged loans, bespoke credit, investment-grade credit, and other spread sectors; generates alpha through security selection, sector allocation, relative value, and macro positioning; manages risk, performance, and capital allocation; represents investment views to institutional clients; and mentors junior investment professionals. The position requires extensive Japanese fixed income and credit experience, strong portfolio and risk management expertise, and Japanese and English communication skills, with a hybrid work model requiring at least four days in the office per week.
