Sky is hiring a Software Engineer for its Content Platforms team to build, enhance, and maintain cloud-based services and applications supporting content delivery across Sky Q, Sky Glass, Sky Go, and NOW. The role covers the full software development lifecycle, distributed systems, cloud and on-premise applications, reliability, scalability, and operational stability. Candidates need production experience with Java Spring and .NET C#, SQL and NoSQL databases, Kafka, cloud and containerisation technologies, and software engineering best practices. The position uses a hybrid model with two days per week onsite at the Osterley office.
