Description
Citi is hiring a Lead Software Engineer for its Markets Operations Technology team to help build a highly automated, resilient platform for margin and collateral processes. The role involves shaping product solutions, collaborating with product teams and users, and contributing to engineering culture. Candidates need 10+ years of professional software development experience, proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or React, experience with RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, microservices, micro-frontend UIs, TDD, clean code, data structures, algorithms, and SQL, plus a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, software programming, or systems engineering. Cloud, distributed systems, and financial-services experience are beneficial. The position is full time and may offer hybrid work opportunities.
