Description
The Senior Backend Java Developer will design and build core backend microservices for a Master Data Management platform serving a global credit ratings organization. Responsibilities include developing Java Spring Boot services for data ingestion, validation, match-merge, golden-record management, and stewardship workflows; building RESTful APIs; integrating with AWS services; implementing OAuth2/JWT and RBAC security; writing tests; supporting CI/CD and containerized deployments; and collaborating on architecture and Agile delivery. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, at least 10 years of backend software development experience including 7 years with Java Spring Boot, and strong expertise in microservices, AWS, financial data processing, and Java security. The base compensation range is $130,000–$150,000.
