In The Pocket is hiring a permanent Backend Engineer to design, develop, and implement secure backend APIs; migrate and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure; automate deployments and provisioning with Terraform; optimize cloud resources; implement security controls; troubleshoot complex issues; and integrate AI tools into the development workflow. The role requires strong Java and JVM knowledge, cloud and containerization experience, authentication and database expertise, software engineering and DevOps practices, and advanced AI tool use.
