Citi is hiring a full-time Software Engineer (AVP) to build technical solutions for complex business problems in OTC derivatives, margin and collateral, payments, and cash management. The role involves collaborating with product teams and users, contributing to engineering culture, and independently solving engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, at least eight years of hands-on software development experience, and proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or React, including RESTful API development with Spring, TDD, clean code, data structures, algorithms, and SQL. Investment banking or financial services experience and cloud or distributed-systems experience are preferred.
