ROSSMANN is hiring an experienced Java Backend Developer for its corporate headquarters in Burgwedel to design and develop core backend and service applications for cash register systems used in national and international branches. The role focuses on building stable, scalable, high-performance services, translating retail business requirements into technical solutions, contributing to software architecture, and managing software through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and operations. The position requires at least five years of experience in cash register software, branch systems, retail IT, or comparable transaction-oriented applications, strong Java and modern framework knowledge, backend service and API experience, relational database expertise, and experience with agile, CI/CD, containers, and cloud technologies.
