HCLTech is hiring a Senior Java Backend Developer in Secaucus, New Jersey for a hybrid role. The position designs, codes, and tests instrument interfaces that automate communication between laboratory instruments and software systems, evaluates vendor and laboratory specifications, participates in software development lifecycle activities, reviews code and modules, and provides technical support and risk assessment for delivered interfaces. The role requires at least seven years of Java software engineering experience and proficiency with Java, Spring, Hibernate, relational databases, RESTful web services, XML, and JSON; experience with medical systems, ASTM, HL7, and Angular is desired.
