CMCI is hiring a Senior Java Backend Developer in Ashburn, Virginia to design, develop, integrate, test, and support large-scale enterprise Java applications involving messaging and transaction processing. The role includes microservice architecture, cloud and serverless services, containerization, databases, streaming systems, REST and GraphQL APIs, CI/CD, and rigorous unit testing. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering, at least nine years of technical experience, and must be able to obtain a public-trust clearance and hold U.S. citizenship. The position requires on-site work five days per week for the first year, with a possible hybrid schedule thereafter.
