Tiko is hiring a full-time Java Engineering Team Lead based in Kenya to lead and develop a team of software engineers, maintain and create features for its healthcare technology platform, coordinate agile engineering work, and ensure secure, well-documented, scalable systems. The role requires 8+ years of backend engineering experience with JVM languages, 3+ years of formal leadership experience managing Java backend engineers, microservices and AWS experience, and extensive Spring framework experience. The gross monthly salary is Ksh444,178–Ksh740,000, with flexible remote or hybrid work options and additional benefits.
