Tiko is hiring a full-time Java Engineering Team Lead to lead and develop a team of software engineers, maintain and create features for its healthcare technology platform, coordinate agile engineering work, and ensure secure, well-documented, scalable systems. The role requires at least eight years of backend engineering experience focused on JVM languages, three years of formal leadership experience managing Java backend engineers, experience with microservices and AWS, and extensive Spring framework experience. Candidates must be based in South Africa, have excellent English skills, and the position offers a gross monthly salary of R88,008 to R146,600 plus benefits, flexible work arrangements, and a personal development budget.
