Citi is hiring a full-time Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise applications, resilient backend services, and microservices using Java and Spring Boot. The role also involves RESTful API development, project and release planning, stakeholder collaboration, security and risk governance, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need 7–12 years of software engineering experience, strong Java and Spring Boot expertise, database and testing knowledge, and experience in financial services or a large complex enterprise environment; Python, Flask, containerization, CI/CD, and cloud platforms are preferred.
