AFRY is hiring an experienced Java Developer for a long-term assignment with an organization responsible for critical societal infrastructure. The role involves designing and developing robust, scalable Java applications, microservice architectures, and distributed systems; building APIs and integrations; modernizing legacy systems; improving testability, quality, and performance; and contributing to CI/CD, DevOps, code reviews, and continuous improvement. The position requires fluent Swedish, at least five years of Java development experience in the public sector or energy sector, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
