ALTEN is hiring a Java Developer to develop and design scalable backend services and software applications using Java EE and Spring Boot. The role includes connecting interfaces to web services and third-party systems, building relational databases, applying TDD and Continuous Integration with Jenkins, and supporting code reviews. Candidates need a computer science degree or comparable IT qualification, knowledge of technologies such as Spring Boot, Docker, Hibernate, SQL, REST, and SOAP, teamwork and initiative, and good German and English language skills.
